This route is one of the most beautiful in central Chile, where the history of Chile intertwines with the highest peaks on the continent. ❄️ Portillo and the Heart of the Andes On our ascent towards the border, we will cross Río Blanco, where we will appreciate Andean villages, mining camps, and majestic glaciers. Portillo Ski Resort: We will arrive at the legendary hotel and ski resort, site of the 1966 World Championships, where its unique shelters designed to prevent winter avalanches stand out. Laguna del Inca: You will enjoy lunch (at your own expense) with a privileged view of this emerald-colored lagoon, famous for its poignant indigenous legend. We will end the day with a relaxing return to your hotel in the afternoon.
