Expert Advice

Dining and Logistics Recommendations in Peulla Lunch Options: Please note that in the town of Peulla, there is only one restaurant available for lunch. It has full commercial connectivity and accepts all forms of payment (credit cards, debit cards, and cash). Outdoor Alternative (Box Lunch): If you prefer a more budget-friendly, quicker, or personalized option, we suggest bringing your own box lunch, sandwich, or snacks. The area features beautiful natural surroundings, allowing you to freely enjoy your lunch by the lake or in the gardens. What to Bring Warm Clothing in Layers: Mountain weather can change drastically. We recommend dressing in layers (thermal base layer, fleece/sweater, and a windbreaker jacket). Closed-toe, Comfortable Footwear: Trekking shoes or sneakers with good traction to walk safely on uneven terrain or volcanic ash trails. Weather Accessories: Beanie and thermal gloves for protection against the wind and cold, as well as sunglasses with UV protection and high-factor sunscreen (radiation in mountain and volcano areas is highly intense). Constant Hydration: At least 1.5 liters of still water per person to stay properly hydrated throughout the trip.
