Navigation to Peulla, Todos los Santos Lake

Description

We will begin our excursion from Puerto Varas at approximately 8:00 AM, heading towards the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park along the shores of Llanquihue Lake. Along the way, we will observe the mouth of the Pescado River, the villages of La Poza and Los Riscos, until we reach the town of Ensenada, from where we will enter the Petrohué sector. There, we will walk along wooden walkways installed amidst abundant vegetation over the Petrohué River until we reach the turquoise-colored waterfalls set within a beautiful landscape. Subsequently, we will head to the "Todos los Santos Lake" to board the Catamaran "Lagos Andinos" and navigate through the Andes Mountains to the ecological village of Peulla. Once there, we will have free time to participate in different activities (at the expense of each passenger) such as canopy/ziplining, horseback riding, fishing excursions, jet boat rides, and 4x4 safaris, or simply enjoy a delicious lunch. We will return by boat navigation and then take the bus from Petrohué back to Puerto Varas, arriving approximately at 4:00 PM.

Expert Advice

Dining and Logistics Recommendations in Peulla Lunch Options: Please note that in the town of Peulla, there is only one restaurant available for lunch. It has full commercial connectivity and accepts all forms of payment (credit cards, debit cards, and cash). Outdoor Alternative (Box Lunch): If you prefer a more budget-friendly, quicker, or personalized option, we suggest bringing your own box lunch, sandwich, or snacks. The area features beautiful natural surroundings, allowing you to freely enjoy your lunch by the lake or in the gardens. What to Bring Warm Clothing in Layers: Mountain weather can change drastically. We recommend dressing in layers (thermal base layer, fleece/sweater, and a windbreaker jacket). Closed-toe, Comfortable Footwear: Trekking shoes or sneakers with good traction to walk safely on uneven terrain or volcanic ash trails. Weather Accessories: Beanie and thermal gloves for protection against the wind and cold, as well as sunglasses with UV protection and high-factor sunscreen (radiation in mountain and volcano areas is highly intense). Constant Hydration: At least 1.5 liters of still water per person to stay properly hydrated throughout the trip.
