An indispensable expedition led by expert hands. 📋 Itinerary Details Day 1: Full-Day Tour to Torres del Paine National Park & Milodon Cave We begin the day with a direct pick-up from your hotel in Puerto Natales to head towards one of the most famous nature reserves on the planet. En route, we will visit the Milodon Cave Natural Monument, an astonishing archaeological site where we will discover the history of the region's first human inhabitants and the prehistoric megafauna that once roamed this southern land. Once inside Torres del Paine National Park, you will witness dramatic and monumental landscapes. We will contemplate the towering presence of the Cuernos del Paine, the roaring turquoise waters of Salto Grande waterfall, the vastness of Lake Grey (complete with floating icebergs), and the iconic granite peaks of the Towers—all framed by herds of wild guanacos, rheas (ñandúes), and ancient forests of native ñirre and lenga trees. Mandatory Travel Tips: Dress in technical layers, wear a high-quality windbreaker and waterproof jacket, wear trekking boots (ideally with a Gore-Tex membrane), bring snacks, and have cash or cards ready to purchase entrance tickets (not included in the base package). Day 2: Full-Day Boat Tour to Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers Note: This activity is strictly subject to weather conditions. We will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the Puerto Bories pier, where we will board a modern vessel. We will sail across the mystical waters of the Ultima Esperanza Fjord, cruising through Patagonian channels surrounded by waterfalls, mountains, and native forests of coigüe, winter's bark (canelo), and calafate. Along the shoreline, you will spot colonies of sea lions, imperial cormorants, flightless steamer ducks, and the majestic flight of the Andean condor. The ship will safely approach the jaw-dropping Balmaceda Glacier, allowing you to witness colossal chunks of ice calving into the fjord. Afterward, we will disembark for a gentle and breathtaking walk along a forested trail that leads to the foot of the Serrano Glacier—an imposing wall of blue ice that will yield one of the most beautiful postcards of your journey. Mandatory Travel Tips: The wind on the fjords and near the ice mass is extremely cold.
